It’s June and another Meet & Greet is in the bag! Mandrel Mykels returned as our MC while Iklima Babangida took us into the vibrant world of photography.
Telling Tales and Dance Moves
Mykels had the audience’s rapt attention as they spun words in a series of games because that’s what literary events should be all about, right? Ubisoft’s Just Dance also had them boogieing down to a variety of songs. New rivalries were born on the dance floor and we can’t wait to see who comes out on top in the future.
Passions do Pay the Bills
If attendees could only take one thing from Halima’s chat with Iklima, it would probably be that one’s passion really can pay the bills. Afterall, our guest is living proof of this. Of course, the photographer also emphasised hard work and the need to develop a sound business mind in order to succeed, so don’t forget. It is her belief that entrepreneurs with passion will always outlast others in their industries.
While the art of taking pictures involves capturing precious moments in time, our guest also believes the interpretation of the story they tell is always in the eye of the beholder. Watch the video below to catch the entire chat if you missed the show or just want to see it all over again.
