Back for More
No, you’re not dreaming. Ayamba LitCast is back after a long hiatus, and we can’t wait to get the ball rolling again.
First off, we’d like to apologise for the long, unexpected absence. It just so happened that our last major event took place on the same day as our anniversary celebration for the year 2022. So, no, our vanishing trick wasn’t planned. We probably wouldn’t have been able to orchestrate a better farewell even if we had tried.
Yes, our socials have been somewhat active, and the occasional post has appeared on the website since our last Meet & Greet, but compared to the good old days, our activity has been sparse. While we cannot go into details right now, please understand that the decision was out of our hands. In the future, Ayamba LitCast we will be more open with the community regarding our future together.

Ayamba Changes
Today we look to the future, not the past, and boy, do we have plenty to look forward to. But first, the sad news. Ayamba Meet & Greet will not be making a return for the foreseeable future. This is a decision we have unfortunately had to make because of unforeseen circumstances. Have no fear, it will be back, but only after we’ve completed plans on how to make it bigger and better.
One thing we can share with you is Ayamba LitCast’s new look. That’s right; the logo has undergone yet another transformation.
Not Just a Facelift
How better to celebrate a new beginning than with a fresh look? The guiding idea behind this brand refresh is a modern Africa. We wanted something reminiscent of the continent and people without introducing changes to the previous design. This resulted in a new custom font with more angles and a triangle motif.

The sharp, edgy font represents our move toward boldness and energy, balanced by the elegance and stability of the isosceles motif. There is one more secret behind our choice of triangles that we aren’t ready to reveal just yet.

We stuck with the signature gold but added black for a stronger contrast, and increased the length of “LitCast” to emphasise its importance. Lastly, we maintained the audioquill but smoothed out its edges and curves.
Mum’s the Word
As far as resurrections go, this has to be one of the quietest, with no fanfare, fireworks, or any fuss. That’s because we’re saving up all that energy for a few new projects that have us sitting on the edge of our seats. It’s still too early to say what though. The website will also receive a subtle facelift in the coming days, so please look forward to that and other upcoming announcements.
Keep an eye on our socials too as we tie up loose ends and finish our preparations for an awesome 2026.
Stay sharp.
